Some
funny
stories.....
29
July
Says
she's
touched
by being
approached
by
people
saying
they are
going
(or went
) to COI.
27
July
Spokane
Stephane
Lambiel
came
back to
the show
(he was
out due
to
injury)
and
she's
glad
she's
not the
new
skater
anymore.
(LOL)
"Here's
a funny
story
I'd like
to
share.
Michelle
(Kwan)
came and
without
a word,
handed
me a
green
sweat
shirt.
I asked
"From
who?" to
which
she
replied
"Me". I
held it
out to
find a
picture
of a
podium,
with a
girl
waving
on the
top of
it
printed
in the
front.
Michelle
smilled
and said
"That's
you." I
didn't
expect
her to
be such
a funny
person
with a
great
sense of
humor. I
was
touched
by this
surprising
gift."

July
The cast
went
bowling
and
Arakawa
fell (PML).
Team
Russia
won and
Plushenko
hit a
high
score of
168.
(Arakawa
86)
29
June
On the
bus, she
found
one seat
with a
"Shizuka
Arakawa"
written
sheet.
It was
Surya
Bonaly
who had
reserved
it for
her,
because
"The bus
gets
crowded
and it
would be
difficult
to find
a seat."
Arakawa
was
thankful.
Same
day,
Irina
Slutskaya
said
"Shizzu,
let's
talk
more!".
Arakawa
could
only say
"Ok" and
she
thinks
she
should
have
told
Irina
that
"I'm not
a dog
(Shih
Tzu) as
a joke.

Edited
to
add...
On 29
July,
Nihon TV
aired a
85
minute
program
of
Arakawa
and COI.
Pics
here.
I only
saw a
few
minutes
and
judging
from
that, it
was a
well
made
documentary
focusing
on
Arakawa's
first
time on
COI, her
struggle
with
English,
how she
has to
try hard
because
she
isn't
well
known to
the
American
audience,
etc.
I'm
pretty
sure
that
Nihon TV
is going
to
televise
COI
Japan
Tour in
Sendai.
Good for
Arakawa
to get
NTV.
