Suguri's comments  "It's a little early but I hope to make this my first step to Vancouver." On her illness, she hasn't fully recovered and "I finally got geared up (mentally) last week." "The Canadians are expecting high quality. I want to show them passion."

Nakano's comments - "I've been training for this. I hope to go on the ice with confidence."

 

Note: This will be Nakano's first Worlds.
